This guide will let you know about the ten things you didn’t know about the beds in Minecraft.
Mob Head

Sleeping in a bed with a mob head above will place your POV inside the head.
Thunderstorm

You can sleep during the day during a thunderstorm.
Sky Dimension

Notch had planned for the sky dimension in Minecraft. He nicknamed the dimension “dream world,” as you would get there by sleeping in a bed.
Craft Beds

You can craft beds out of any combination of wood and wool. There are currently 6 types of wood and 16 types of wool, which means there are no less than 884,736 ways to create a bed.
Explosion

If you try to sleep in the Nether, the bed will explode. It is also the case in the End.
Killing Ender Dragon

Minecraft speedrunners use this as a method to kill the Ender Dragon.
Fall Damage

Sleeping in a bed while falling will delay the fall damage.
Zombie or Skeleton Attack

Sleeping comes with the risk of being woken by a zombie or a skeleton attacking you. The chance of this happening decreases as you lock yourself into a secure base.
Confused Viewing

Viewing a bed from underneath confuses most players at first. The legs of a bed are only visible from the outside, so beds appear to have no legs at all.
Crying Obsidian

Crying obsidian was a texture for a spawn-point-changing obelisk. The obelisk project was abandoned after the introduction of beds.
