Sam Houser appears in RDR1 to tease GTA 5 for the players in 2010.
You can find a similar easter egg in RDR2.
Here you can find the Jesuit missionary.
Cardinal Blanco mentions that Rodolfo , the Missionary, heard God calling him from the east.
Balanco wrote to Rodolfo to talk him out of leaving the mission in California.
Rodolfo left anyway and died on his way east. To find out how Rockstar teased GTA 6, let's go back to the letter.
This letter actually contains a hidden message left by Rockstar.
Dan Houser, who's the Rockstar games writer.
Is represented by the person who wrote the letter (Cardinal Blanco).
While Sam houser, who's the creative mind behind the games is represented by the person chasing the calling (Brother Rodolfo).
This easter Egg is an inside joke on the whole GTA 5 and GTA 6 situation.
Let's focus on the first paragraph, be sure to read each paragraph. This part focuses on rockstar games, Creative struggle with take two.
Dan tells Sam that take two doesn't and won't always agree with them, because take two thinks more about the finances while Sam wants to create new games for the fans.
Let's go to the second and the third paragraph, Let's go to the second and the third paragraph, Dan Agrees with take two's idea to postpone GTA 6, and focus on GTA 5 and GTA Online which currently makes a lot of money.
Yet Sam Houser doesn't agree with that approach.
Dan Houser admits that both Sam's and take two's ways are risky.
If they go with take two's approach, they'll make money on GTA 5 but could lose fans interest.
If they go with Sam's idea, Gta 6 will be released sooner. But they won't earn as much money in the meantime.
Dan asks his brother not to leave the mission in California, because they need him.
California is a clear reference to Los Santos from GTA 5, so basically Dan is asking Sam to keep his focus on GTA 5 and GTA Online.
Sam houser wants to head east which means make the next GTA game. The east part is a tease at the GTA 6 setting and here's why.
In RDR1, Sam Odessa, who represents Sam Houser, was travelling to California.
This was a way of teasing GTA 5 and Los Santos for players in 2010.
Now in RDR2, Brother Rodolfo, who also represents Sam Houser, is headed east from California.
It is a clear reference to Florida, which is n the east coast.
Florida is hinting at Vice City, which is based on Miami.
Ever since Rockstar started using the rage engine, they've been more or less remaking the GTA games from the 3D universe. GTA 4 is a makeover of GTA 3 and Liberty city.
GTA 5 is a fresh take on GTA San Andreas and Los Santos, so it's safe to assume that by east, Rockstar meant Vice City and GTA 6 is going to be a new and improved version of GTA Vice City.
Now, let's focus on the part where Rodolfo's journey is compared to that of the Magi. Rockstar used this comparison for a reason.
The magi followed the star of Bethlehem.
It is a reference to the star in the Rockstar logo.
Brother Rodolfo was following that star, much like Sam Odessa was following it in RDR1.
Let's look at the last paragraph of the letter, Dan houser once again asks his brother to ease up with the GTA 6 development. Since rushing it would cause problems for the Rockstar games.
It is probably why we're getting another remastered GTA 5 before any GTA 6 news. Still it'll be fun to see what new stuff they'll add to the game.
There's still one last clue Rockstar left for us when it comes to GTA 6. The names Rodolfo and Blanco could've been chosen here for a reason.
Blanco could be reference to Griselda Blanco.
Who was one of the biggest Colombian drug lords during the Miami drug war.
Rodolfo and Blanco could mean that we'll get two playable protagonists in GTA 6.
The names might mean that we'll get a male and female protagonist, both most likely be Colombian, especially since even the letter is written in Spanish.
The information the Rodolfo point of interest gives us could mean, that a lot of the GTA 6 leaks we've been getting lately have some truth to them.
