Companies have been working hard, building and opening new factories.

Intel has announced a $1 billion investment.

They plan to invest in disruptive technologies for the foundry ecosystem.

It’s a partnership between Intel Capital and Intel Foundry Services.

Part of the goal is to work with an open chip platform, including x86, Arm and RISC-V.

RISC-V is run by the non profit organization RISC-V international.

They work with Huaweri, Western Digital, Google, and now Intel.
