Europe Sets Sights on Global Semiconductor Domination

Europe sets sights on global semiconductor domination.

The new EU Chips Act plans to invest in the future of semiconductors.

Countries around the world are investmenting more when it comes to chip production, due to global chip shortage.

They have recently started setting up its new production factory.

Governments are also investing billions into easing the shortage.

Now they will also help with the global semiconductor demand.

They want to regain global leadership in semiconductors.

They had a fairly strong semiconductor industry up until sometime in the 1980s.

They are now also joining the race for semiconductor dominance.

They are investing €11 billion for chip creation.

They will spend around $70 billion USD over the next ten years.

In 2030 chips could be entirely different, hybrid particle magnetic semiconductors.
