Ubisoft's Latest Effort to Convince Employees That NFTs are Good Falls Flat
Ubisoft’s latest effort to convince employees that NFTs are good falls flat.
They failed to convince employees about the merits of its NFT strategy earlier this week.
Major publishers are making a point of slowing their approach, or staying away from NFTs entirely.
Ubisoft wants to push ahead with the technology even with negative reactions from gamers and employees.
On Thursday the friction between Ubisoft management and employees grew more intense.
The employees gave hundreds of negative replies on their strategy for blockchain technology, according to the report.
One of them said that it was a deeply embarrassing day to work at Ubisoft.
Their biggest problem is that they have not been able to explain what’s the end in this case.
They criticized blockchain technology in December 2021.
Then in January they said that gamers don’t get what a digital secondary market can bring to them.
The proposed system doesn’t appear to offer anything that isn’t already available in video games but they offer unique numbers.
