How to Unlock Artes, Art Proficiency - Tales of Arise

First of all on this screen you can see your arte proficiency numbers.

You unlock new artes by leveling them up.

You level them up by using Artes from corresponding arte families in figats.

The first set of artes (apart from the basic ones) is unlocked at proficiency number 100.

Note - you must be proficient 100 or above at the start of the fight, if you hit 100 during one the arte unlocks in the next one.

Note #2 - Level doesn't matter, it's all about proficiency.

Next one at number 300.

Another one at number 600.

Another one at 800,1000 you get the gist.

This goes for the sword and aerial strikes, flame strike is a little bit different.

You have an infernal torrent from the start.

To open the third one, you must actually buy the rising phoenix skill first.

And have at least 200 aerial strikes.

From what I have been testing, flame strike number doesn't really matter on this one.

To unlock the fourth one, you need to also unlock the blazing blow title.

By boost attack, downing 35 enemies.

Now you can use 4 flame strike attacks.
