Boss Fight Tips

Jinsuke’s lai-sword slash is incredibly powerful. Even if you block his attacks, he will still damage you.

His attacks will be lethal the longer the fight goes on. To finish this fight quickly, you should aim to parry him.

In this fight, you must prioritize damaging his posture. The key to beating Jinsuke is to rack up his posture damage as fast as possible.

The only way to defend yourself is to attack. If you try to block only, you will be at a disadvantage. You must use your parry and load Axe to hurt his posture.

Notable attacks

Lai-slash is a unique guard penetrating long range slash.

When timing your parry, watch for his sheathe to flash.

While you chip away at his posture, keep your health up as high as possible.

Pommel thrust, When you are in Jinsuke close vicinity, he strikes you with the katana’s pommel.

He will follow this attack with a lai-slash if you are hit. Be sure to stay out of his attack range when he does that.

Lower swoop: An attack on the lower part of your body.

This attack swings widely to the side. Jumping over it will be an ideal defense.

The horizontal range is relatively short. If you can keep your distance from it, you can easily dodge it.
