Combat Tips
Posture gauge:
Gyoubu is a relentless attacker. It's hard to see small openings for attack against him.
When fighting an opponent, be careful of their opening and subtle moves to fill their super move gauge.
When prompted, use grappling hook attack:
When you see the green symbol, gyubou will start swinging his weapon around.
Use your Grappling Hook Attack to close your distance after timing your attack while flinching him for attack.
His attacks can be deflected if you time them correctly.
With this flurry of attacks, you will be able to rack up his posture gauge.
For the death blow, double Tap R1:
Right after initiating your second death blow, you will be prompted with a finishing blow.
The finisher blow will be initiated by the second tap.
You will need to follow up with another attack again, if you do not deliver his final blow.
Notable attacks
Thrust attack:
Gyoubu will launch a powerful attack that cannot be blocked.
Unless you are equipped with mikiri counter skill, jump on step dodge out of the way.
Ground Gouging Attack:
On his second health gauge, Gyoubu will use a different set of attacks.
His new perilous attack will deliver devastating blows.
While he commences this attack, jump out of the way.
