How to Beat "Sakura Bull of the Palace" Boss Battle - Sekiro
Combat tip 1: Initiate your fight with a death blow.
To start your combat with a death blow, you can sneak up and jump on the bull.
This deathblow will not kill the bull unlike the other deathblows, but it can chip away about 40% of its hp.
There will be 3 enemies on the roof. You will need to defeat them.
1st Enemy:
To execute, sneak up on the enemy closest to the idol.
2nd Enemy:
To execute, move around to the furthest target's backside.
3rd Enemy:
Sneak from the garden to stay out of the Bull's field of view.
Combat Tip 2: Aim to go near its Hind.
To avoid its frontal attacks, try to close in on the Bull's hind as much as you can.
When you have been distanced, dash to close in on its back.
Combat Tip 3: To Stun, use Firecrackers.
The Firecrackers will stun the Bull, so you can slip in some attacks while he's dazed.
Be sure not to spam the Firecracker. It has a short stun cooldown.
Notable Attacks
Notable Attack 1: Side Swipe.
The bull swings its head to the side.
When trying to reach its backside, you may be susceptible to this attack.
To avoid being countered while repositioning, try to strafe around in a large circle.
Notable Attack 2: After Stun, Shake-off.
When the Bull is stunned after losing 80% of its health, a special attack will appear.
Keep your distance to stay away from its damage range because it will freak out on a random direction.
