Free Roam Missions
There are a lot of quest-givers for the Free Roam missions all across the map. Most of them are familiar characters from the story mode. These missions don’t have interesting gameplay and the game just tells other players to attack you.
The amount of gold bars that you earn is based on the amount of time that you spend on a mission. You can earn $15 for completing a mission in 10 minutes.
A Land of Opportunities missions
These are the story missions and their payout is almost twice as high as the Free Roam missions. They consist of a little story with cut scenes. It is recommended to complete a land of opportunity story at least once.
These missions are not the best choice to make money because it takes a lot of time to complete a mission. If any member of your team is failing constantly, then you have to restart the mission all over again.
Blood Money Missions
You have to go to Saint-Denis and watch a cutscene with a two-story character Guarma. After that, you can take blood money missions from low-owner strange mission givers. They are three-part missions and a tier money-making method for beginners.
If they have a cutscene like Blue Wate Man contract, the payout will be relatively good. You will get an additional bonus of $60 after completing all three missions for the first time. You can also find Capitale in these missions which will help to unlock opportunity missions.
Opportunities
The Opportunity missions are very good for beginners and you can unlock unique hats after completing them for the first time. But Capitale doesn’t make sense because NPCs are repeating this word too often. You have to pay Capital to the mobster and he will let you steal this priceless gem. You must complete these opportunity missions at least once.
Horse Races and PVP Showdowns
You have to open up the left menu and go to the Quick Join part section to find them. With the horse races, you can only earn a small amount of money and experience. Also, you will get nothing on cut scenes loading screens and time between missions per hour.
The PVP showdowns are a decent grinding method for beginners. The match will last for seven minutes and you will get a decent payout. The payout is based on the time you spend within the match.
Fishing, Hunting, and Gathering
Fishing, Hunting, and Gathering is a tier C money-making method. You can sell animal meat or carcasses to a butcher and start fishing and sell them to a butcher. You can also gather herbs for a doctor to earn a good amount of money.

Daily challenges are probably the best gold-making method. Searching for a treasure chest is an S-tier grinding method in Red Dead Online. You will receive a treasure map as a reward from each five levels.

Telegrams in RDR2 Online
