Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered – Save Game

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is a first-person shooter with both single-player and multiplayer modes. It is developed by Raven Software, and Beenox. It is directed by David Pellas and it is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered features the same core gameplay as the original version: it is a first-person shooter in which the player controls several characters during the single-player campaign, alternating from one to another between missions. The single-player campaign is almost the same as the original. While adding several more of the latter, it retains the same collectibles and cheats.

Where is the save game folder in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered?

You’d need to extract the remote folder based on your operating systems in the save folder. The specified path for the save game folder of each operating system is given below:

Windows Other:

Access the game directory to discover the save game path associated with the game.

Windows Other: “Game-Directory” 

Linux:

On a Linux system, start by locating the Steam installation folder. Then, navigate to the compat data folder within steamapps. Open the specified user ID folder to access the save game files path for your game.

Linux: “Steam-Folder/steamapps/compatdata/393080/pfx ”

How Do I Install the Save File?

First, you will need to download the save game file and extract it with the help of WinZip. After that, you have to copy the save file to a save game location and make sure to have a backup of your save.  

Important: Always back up the save file before replacing it with the new one.
