Santa Monica Studio and Jetpack Interactive created the role-playing game God of War. The game retains the series’ signature punishingly difficult gameplay but with a focus on the main character Kratos and his adventure with his son Atreus. In combo-based combat, platforming, and puzzle game aspects, the player controls Kratos. It also has fast-time events in which the player must accomplish certain game controller actions in a timed sequence to battle stronger opponents and bosses.
