The Hunt is a side-quest in Cyberpunk 2077, where River Ward’s nephew, Randy, has gone missing. River Ward believes the serial killer Anthony Harris, nicknamed “Peter Pan,” is involved and asks V to help him. As the player progress along the mission, they’ll have to find clues to ascertain the secret location used by Anthony Harris. One of those clues consists of finding Harris’s IP Address.
Let’s jump in and find out the correct way to solve this mystery.
In “The Hunt” quest, after the NCPD lab, Both V and River head out to meet Joss, River’s sister, and Randy’s mother. Joss isn’t happy to see River but allows them to look through Randy’s stuff in the trailer to find something that’ll bring her son back to her.
Note: To successfully breach Randy’s computer, players need a minimum Intelligence level of 12.
Logging in to the computer, read all files and messages. Then Exit the computer normally. River will ask V if he can use his Net Running abilities to get something off this computer. Players then have to select the Dialogue option “Definitely.” Another option appears soon after to “Use” the computer, and by choosing that option, V will start a breaching sequence.
Players will have to input the correct sequence of codes in the Code Matrix. In the picture above, the access codes are in the order 1C, 55, and 1C. Head to the Code matrix, select the last 1C code on the first row, head down the last column and select 55, and then head left on the same row and select 1C. Viola!
Upon completion, players will get Harris’s IP Address. Combined with further clues will give out the location of Anthony Harris’s Farm.
