You can hold down L2 for vision control to have good spacing with the opponent. You will need to press and hold R1 and then use the right analog stick and move it back and forth to move the stick in the respective direction.
You can press R3 to poke. Hold R1, use the right analog stick to move the stick back and forth, and if you want to change it to a poke Checker poke from that position, press an R3 which is the same as manually pressing R1 when you’re not holding down on one. The other cool feature is that you can hold L1 to perform a crouch block and then use the right analog stick to move the stick back and forth to block passes.
