First of all, you need to have your friend battle.net ID to add your friend for crossplay. To find the ID, you have to go to your name and it will show you your battle.net ID. It is the number that you need to get from your friend or you have to share yours with your friend.
After this, click on the Social button next to your name and then click on the Friend’s tab on the top of your screen. Click on the Add Friend button on the right side of your screen and type that Specific id along with the #, and then you have to click on the send request button. After this, your friend will be added to your friend list, then you have to go to their name and click on Invite to the game.
