This guide will let you know how to EASILY defeat the FIRE GIANT in Elden Ring & Unlock Secret Areas.
The Fire Giant unlocks a new area called the Forge of the Giants which has some of the best weapons. You will need to go to the Grand Lift of Rold and run through the entire mountain top to come all the way down to the mountain top of the giants. After that, go to the Church of Repose to get the rivers of blood katana.
Head up to the giant goblin, run past through and you will find chains along the edge. Cross these chains and enter the fog to start the boss fight.
You have to roll past through when it smashes down. Just lure the fire giant up the hill avoiding his main attack that has a lot of range. After that, make your way to the cliff’s edge and wait until he comes here, and once he initiates an attack, you need to jump across onto the other side.
After that, stand on down here and he will jump up onto the rocks with one of his attacks and you can lure him to his death. Just hold the shield up and it’ll block it if he does the snow attack.
Then he will jump on the larger rock and you need to run backward, he will follow you, then fall down and break his legs. Now phase two will start and you have to run past avoiding all the fire attacks. Then simply lure him up the hill and over to this ledge while avoiding all the attacks.
Now he will follow you and when he will charges up another attack, you have to jump right down and you don’t get hit by the fire attacks. Wait for the fire giant to walk over the edge and use the shield and armor that has high fire defense. Avoid his fire attacks and when he comes near the edge you need to wait for him to fall off the edge.
Once he falls off, you will simply win and you will be able to pick Site of Grace. After that, run up the chains into the Forge of the Giants, then run around the left side of the bowl and you will find a Site of Grace next to the big gap. After that, select all the way down at the bottom to talk to Melina, she will appear out of nowhere and you will be able to unlock the zone when you continue the story option. Make sure to choose “I’m ready” and after the cutscene, you will end up waking up in a new area in the middle of an ocean that has a ton of amazing items.
