How to FIX Encased ControllerGamepad Not Working on PC

1- First of all, you have to restart the game; if you have launched the game, close it. Then restart it and check the controller to see if it is working or not.

2- If your controller is still not working, restart your PC and then check your controller.

3- Open Steam, go to the library, and find the game. After finding the game, right-click on it, click on the properties, and then click on the controller tab. You have to select disable Steam input and then check the controller. If it does not help you, then enable the Steam input.

4- Also, close all the programs running in the background, as they cause issues in the game launching. So before launching the game, close all the programs running in the background.

5- You have to unplug any devices plugged into your PC. You have to unplug the USB, microphones, etc don’t unplug the keyboard and mouse. After this, launch the game and see if this fixes your problem.

6- After that, configure your controller by opening Steam and clicking on the Steam button on the top left of your screen.

7- Right-click on it, go to the properties and click on the controller on the left side of your screen. Click on the general controller settings.

10- After that, go to the big picture mod by clicking on it on the top right side of your screen, and then go to the controller options to ensure that you are playing the game with global settings.

11- Launch the game again and see if your issue is fixed. If your issue is still not resolved, then you have to go back to the controller option and try setting it to Forced OFF or setting it to force On. Hopefully, it will fix your issue.
