PCSX2 Settings
1- First, boot up your Emulator and click on the Configuration tab from the top of the screen. Then click on Video GS from the drop-down menu and select plug-in settings from the extended menu.
2- It will open the GSdx setting page in front of you. On this page, you must ensure that the Renderer is set to OpenGL Software.
NVidia Settings
1- First, make sure that you are running on the latest GPU drivers. To check which graphics card you are using, right-click on the taskbar.
2- Select task manager and expand the Display Adaptors, then you will find your graphics card there.
3- Right-click on the desktop and open the NVidia control panel.
4- On the top left side, click on the “Adjust image settings with preview”, use the advanced 3D image settings that have been selected and then click on Apply. After this, launch the game and see if this fixes your problem.
5- Now head to Manage 3D settings and go to the second option, which is program settings. Select the game, and a program to customize, then scroll all the way down to the Power management mod and set it to maximum performance.
6- It will raise your idle clock slightly and help solve the stuttering issues inside the game. Set the Open Render GPU to your GPU and the preferred refresh rate to the highest.
7- After that, scroll down to anisotropic optimization and enable this. You must allow Negative lod Bois and set the texture filtering quality to high performance. Try linear optimization to threaded optimization and then click on Apply.
8- You must make sure all the programs in the background are closed, as these background programs take space from your Ram and it causes issues.
9- Also, you have to make sure that you must close all the programs running in the background as they cause issues in the game launching. So before launching the game, close all the programs running in the background.
10- You need to unplug any devices plugged into your PC. Then unplug the USB, microphones, etc just don’t unplug the keyboard and mouse. After that, launch the game and check if it fixes your problem.
