Getting a Kavat is more or less a simple process although it can be a little tedious in order to actually breed the Kavat. You will need 10 Kavat genetic codes and you can get Kavat genetic codes by heading to any node on Deimos.
Once you are in the mission, you are going to be looking for wild Kavats which will spawn randomly around the tileset. However, most times they will be cloaked/invisible and harder to see, so you need to run around and aim using my scanner which will highlight them and make them easier to see. When you scan them using your scanner, they will have a low chance to give you Kavat genetics codes.
Once you have at least 10 Kavat genetic codes, all you need is the Kavat incubator, which you can get the blueprint for by buying it at a clan Dojo. Or you can kill Hyekka masters and they will have a chance to drop the blueprint for you.
