Somber Ancient Dragon smithing stones are the only way to upgrade special armaments in the game, and they’re late-game items. You will need access to the Dynasty Mausoleum Site of Grace to find them. It is locked behind a quest, so you must complete it to get access. Once you reach there, head upstairs, and there will be a lot of blood zombies on them.
Just avoid them and turn left when you come to the blood clot. Jump over some gravestones and enter the big doorway with a statue beside it. There will be dangerous assassins, so you must carefully avoid them and head toward to doorway on the other side.
There will be another site of grace, and then you have to go for the treasure chest on that statue’s altar to the left. Running up to the chest real quick and opening it as fast as possible is recommended. Grab the Somber ancient dragon smithing stone and then accept the death.
After that, take it to any smithy, and then you can upgrade any special armament to plus 10.
