This guide will let you know how to get the Multipurpose Room and the Observatory in Subnautica. You have to follow the simple steps to get it.
The first location you are going to head to in order to find the observatory and multipurpose room is the Jellyshroom caves which you can reach by starting from the coral tube starting point that sticks up out of the water. Head just in between southeast and south on the compass until you reach a hole in the ground that will lead you to the Jellyshroom caves.
It is recommended to bring a sea moth with an MK1 depth module or no depth module, a high capacity 02 tank, and a sea glide, and you will have to have a scanner to get the blueprint.
The only actual threat you will encounter in the caves are crabsnakes which are a threat but they aren’t like extremely dangerous, so it is recommended to avoid them. Although you shouldn’t be down there very long anyways. You can always use perimeter defense or a stasis rifle against them if you need to.
The other place you can get both blueprints is at the floating island which you can reach by using the same coral tube starting point and heading about 1-2 notches to the left of the southwest on the compass until you reach the island. There aren’t really threats on the island aside from cave crawlers which you can kill in 2 hits with the knife so they’re too insignificant to be considered an actual threat. All you really need to bring is a scanner, although you can use a sea moth or sea glide to reach the island faster.
