How to install Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Mods On Switch

Requirements

1- First, you’ll need a moddable or already modded Nintendo switch running atmosphere custom firmware, or you can use smash mods with Reujinx on your PC.

2- Also, you’ll need a copy of Mario kart 8 deluxe physical and digital copies, as both are moddable.

Adding Mods

1- First, turn off your switch and put your sd card in your computer or connect to your switch via FTP with your computer. Then click on the following link https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachment… as it will download the Mario Kart 8 Delux folder.

2- Once the file is downloaded, open it, then drag and drop the atmosphere folder to the root of your sd card.

3- Open the atmosphere folder, go into the content folder, and find the title id for Mario kart 8 deluxe. The folder whose name has numbers and letters is the ID folder; open this folder and then open the romsfs folder in this. You’ll find a lot of other folders there.

Mods Setup

1- Now, set up the folder to place your mods. Then download some mods, go over the setup, go to the root of your sd card, open the ultimate folder and make a new folder. Here the name of the folder should be Mods.

2- Now open the newly created Mods folder and click on the following link https://gamebanana.com/games/6507. It will take you to the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Mods game banana page. On the main page of this site, you will find featured mods, and then you will find the latest mods or threads under the featured mods. There will be a mods section on the right side of the page.

3- Form here, you can download different mods like skin mods, sound mods, video mods, etc. Once the mods are downloaded, drag and drop them into the mods folder on your SD card.

Download NVidia

1- To download NVidia drivers, you must click on the following link https://www.nvidia.com/download/index... After that, select your product type and your product series. Then select your operating system, and click on Search.

2- It will take you to a new page, and you need to click the Download button. After that, extract it by clicking on the Extract Here button and then install it. After the installation, restart your PC.

3- Open the NVidia GeForce Experience. If you don’t have an account, then sign up and if you have an account, then click on the Sign button.

4- Once you are Signed in, click on the three dots under your username at the top right corner of the screen and select scan for games and apps from the drop-down menu. It will add supported games to the software.

5- Click on the settings button in the top right corner of the screen next to your username and select the shield option from the left side.

6- Ensure the game stream is turned ON, and click the Add button. Through this, you can add different games here.

Nintendo Switch

1- Once the NVidia is set up, go to your switch and make sure that the switch is connected to the same network your PC is connected to.

2- Now open up the homebrew menu by launching a game and holding the R button, then navigate to moonlight and press the A button to open moonlight.

3- You’ll see find host, add host, and some other options from the top right side of the screen. You have to click on the settings button.

4- On this page, set your resolution and your FPS. Then come back and click on Add host. Now enter your PC’s IP address on the next page.

5- For this, go back to your PC and open the command prompt by searching cmd on the screen’s Windows search column at the bottom right side.

6- Once the command prompt is open, then write ipconfig and press enter. You will get your PC’s Ip in front of the IPV4 address and copy that Ip.

7- Afterward, go back to Switch and enter your PC’s IP address. Now that your PC is linked to the Switch select the PC Icon and press the A button, as it will pop up the list of games in front of you with all the latest mods you have installed. From here, you can select the game you want to play.
