This guide will let you know how to install Replay Mod in Minecraft 1.18.1 on Mac.
1. The first thing you will need to do is download the Replay mod for Minecraft from “https://www.replaymod.com/download/“. Open the link, scroll down a bit and click on the green Download hyperlink against the Minecraft version you want this mod for.
2. After that, navigate to this link “https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/fabric-api” to download the relevant version of the fabric API under the Recent Files section.
3. Once you have downloaded these files, go to this link “https://fabricmc.net/” to download the modding toolchain for Minecraft. Click on the Download Installer button and wait for the downloading.
4. When all the files are downloaded, you need to take them to your desktop from the downloads folder. Open your Minecraft Launcher to create a new Installation. Click on the Installation option at the top bar and then press the New Installation button.
5. On the next window, you need to select the version and press the Create button at the bottom right corner.
6. Now play the installation you just created.
7. When Minecraft loads up, you have to press the Quit Game tab.
8. Now open up the fabric installer that you downloaded before. When the wizard opens, make sure to select the relevant Minecraft version and loader version to the latest, then press the Install button.
9. After that, open the finder application and click on the Go option from the Menu bar at the top of the screen. Then hold the ALT button on your keyboard and press the Library option.
10. Now open the application support folder and then open the Minecraft folder from it. Find the mods folder and open it and if you don’t get to see the mods folder here, then you need to create a folder and name it mods. Drag the downloaded files of Fabric API and Replay Mod from the desktop and drop them into the mods folder of Minecraft.
11. After that, open up the Minecraft Launcher, then go to the installation option and press play for the fabric loader. When the game loads up, you need to join a world or server and it will start recording.
