How to Install Sprint Stuttering Fix Mod in Starfield

The “Sprint Stuttering Fix” resolves the annoying twitching and stuttering experienced in first-person sprinting on uneven terrain in Starfield. It addresses a limitation in the game engine where camera motion smoothing is ignored at higher sprinting speeds.

To install the Sprint Stuttering Fix mod in Starfield, follow these simple steps:

  • First, download the Sprint Stuttering Fix mod from the Nexus site. (You might need to create an account if you don’t have one).
  • After downloading the mod file, you’ll need to paste the contents of the zip file into the Starfield game directory.

Starfield location:

Local Disk (C:) > Users > Documents > My Games > Starfield

Starfield location (Steam):

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starfield\

Note: You’ll have to overwrite the files in case of any duplicate files.
