Starfield Upscaler mod is used to enable DLSS 3 in the game. By installing this mod, you can replace FSR2 with DLSS/XeSS.
To install the Starfield Upscaler mod in Starfield, follow these simple steps:
- First, download the Install the Upscaler Base Plugin from the Nexus site. (You might need to create an account if you don’t have one).
- Now, download the Starfield Upscaler mod from the Nexus site.
- After downloading the mod file, you’ll need to paste the content of the zip file into the Starfield game directory.
Starfield location:
Local Disk (C:) > Users > Documents > My Games > Starfield
Starfield location (Steam):
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starfield\
Note: You’ll have to overwrite the files in case of any duplicate files.
- Now, make sure to place the PDPerfPlugin.dll into the mods/UpscalerBasePlugin folder.
- Additionally, you’ll need to download either nvngx_dlss.dll or libxess.dll, depending on your preference. These files should be placed in the mods/UpscalerBasePlugin folder as well.
- Ensure that both of these files are present in the above mentioned folder.
Alternatively, you can also auto-install the mod by using Vortex mod manager.
That’s it! Your mod is now installed. You can try it out by launching the game.
