This guide will let you know how to make a garden with vegetables, fruits, flowers, etc in the Sims 4.
1. Let’s first learn the method through build mode. You need to go into the build mode from the top right corner.
2. Now click on the search bar at the bottom left corner and type in Gardening then choose Gardening from the search result.
3. After that, you need to buy some items which are necessary to purchase, seeds for the plantation like Garden Pot, Christofer’s planter, and Garden Planter Box.
4. Buy all these items and place them wherever you like in your garden and then go back to the live mode.
5. Now click on the Garden Planter Box and select the plant option if you already have some seeds in your inventory. Otherwise, you have to buy some by clicking on the “Purchase seeds” option.
6. Choose the seeds package you want to plant. For now, you are going to buy fruits and vegetable seeds. Click on the tick mark at the bottom right corner to confirm your purchase. You can find them in your inventory after buying them.
7. Remember you have to open the seed packet first to be able to click on the “Plant” option. Open both packets to use the seeds.
8. Now click on the Garden Planter Box and you will find the Plant option. You have to click on it.
9. Select the seeds you want to plant from the list.
10. After planting the seeds, don’t forget to water the seeds.
11. There are also other methods to buy seed packages. Use a computer, click on it and select More Choices then press Order.
12. Then click on the “Purchase Seeds” option.
13. Then you can do the same thing you did before. Choose the seeds package you want to plant and click on the tick mark at the bottom right corner to confirm your purchase. You can find them in your inventory after buying them.
14. You can also find and harvest seeds in the world (in natural environments) or you can buy them from shops around the city. Now let’s check another way to plant the seeds. Go into your inventory and drag the seeds you want to plant into the garden mud.
15. After placing the seed on the soil, you need to click on it and press Plant.
16. If you have the sims 4 seasons pack, you can plant your seeds based on the current season! if you take your mouse over the seed, it says which season is good to plant this particular seed. And with the season’s pack if you reach level 5 or more of your gardening skill, then you can purchase seasonal seeds.
17. Now you can choose the seeds based on what season you want to plant them.
18. And to see what season is right now and what is coming, you can see that at the bottom of the screen.
19. Wait for your seeds to grow into plants so that you can get fruits and vegetables. Once you harvest them, you can find them in your inventory, and all same types of fruits and vegetables will stack up there. You can then also sell them to earn money.
