In this guide, you will find how to make Acid in No Man’s Sky.
Acid isn’t the hardest thing to make in NMS. To start, you must ensure you have the blueprint for acid, which you can buy from the space anomaly synthesis laboratory using nanites.
First, you must get Mordite, which you can get in several ways. The first way is simply putting faecium into a refiner, and you will get 2 Mordite for 3 faecium.
There are several different things you can refine to get Mordite. The first is Carbon and Pugnuum, which will give you 1 Mordite.
The next is condensed carbon and pugneum, giving you two Mordite.
And finally, you can refine Di-hydrogen and condensed carbon to make one Mordite.
You can find Faecium on certain planets, but all you need to do is scan a planet before going to it, and it will tell you if a planet has faecium on it.
Once you reach a planet with faecium on it, you need to use your analysis visor to look for faecium deposits and use the terrain manipulator to collect it whenever you find it.
You can also find carbon on just about any planet by mining plants and any other flora you might find on a planet. You can find Di-hydrogen scattered around most planets, typically, you will find it on the ground, and it will sort of look like small blue crystals on the ground that you can mine and collect.
You can make condensed carbon by refining regular carbon.
The next thing you will need is fungal mould which you can get by going to a planet with fungal mould. You can find it by scanning a planet to see if it has fungal mold. And you can find it by using your visor while on the planet.
You can also refine ammonia and oxygen to make the fungal mould. You can find ammonia on the same planet you find fungal mould on.
Once you have both Mordite and fungal mould, you can make acid.
