In this guide, you will find out how to MOD a server with G-portal in Project Zomboid.
First, you have to go to your G-Portal website and then stop your server by clicking on the Stop button on the top. After this, go back to the steam app, and find the mod you want.
Now you have to get the workshop ID and the Mod ID. For this, you need to go back to the G-portal website and scroll down until you find mods. Put the name of the MOD and then put “;” after the name. After this, you scroll down again until you find the Steam workshop ID, then copy the MOD ID and the Workshop ID from the Steam app of the mod you have selected. Then you have to paste this in the G-portal, put the “;” and click on save. After this, you have to turn yourself Online.
Before installing the mod in your Steam app, you have to make sure that it is working on the server. For this, you have to go to the server in the game and then refresh the server. The server will take some time to appear, you have to wait, and once the server appears, you need to click on Join Server.
There might be a chance that you have to install a workshop item while joining the server if it is needed then it will p[op up on the screen. And then simply you have to click on the Install button.
Once the installation completes, you will enter the server, and then you will have the Mod installed into your game server.
