Purchase and Customize the Anywhere Any Fair Food Stand

Buy the Anywhere Any Fair Food Stand for 585 Simoleons. You can customize it with different appearances to match your food store’s theme. You can also name your stand or business by choosing the Change Business Details option. The stand can be placed on your home lot or put into your inventory to set up shop in other locations.

Setting Up the Stand with Appliances

The food stand has two slots at the back for small appliances. Choose the appliances you need for your food business, like a mixer or waffle maker, and place them on the stand. For example, if you’re selling waffles, place the mixer to prep ingredients and the waffle maker on the stand.

Preparing and Stocking Inventory

Once your stand is set and you’ve prepared some dishes, open the stand’s inventory by clicking on it. Drag the dishes you plan to sell from your inventory to the stand’s inventory. You can filter your inventory by food to find what you’re selling quickly and keep things organized. Additionally, you can directly drag food from your inventory onto the stand to add it to the inventory.

Starting a Food Sale Event

Click on the stand and select Open to start showing your inventory. Choose to Start a Food Sale for a 5-hour event, and your Sim will automatically begin selling. If your Sim stops for any reason, direct them back to tend the table. Set a markup up to 300% on the table; a higher markup means more profit but can make sales harder.

Interacting with Customers

During the event, your Sim can interact with potential customers. Click on customers to give them a sales pitch or convince them to buy specific items. Charisma experience is gained after each food sale event, and the High School Years expansion pack adds entrepreneurial skill experience.

Stocking and Managing Inventory During the Event

While tending the table, your sim can still use small appliances without interrupting sales. Quickly cook more food if needed and drag it into the table’s inventory. Your Sim may autonomously restock the table if there’s space unless you disable the auto-stock feature.

Rain Effects on Small Appliances

Rain won’t affect or damage the pizza oven, ice cream maker, or popcorn maker, so they can be used even during rainy weather. However, the stand mixer and waffle maker will break when exposed to rain, unless upgraded to be unbreakable.
