The Mandalorian Build Guide -Cyberpunk 2077

You read that correctly, Cyberpunk 2077 is set in a dystopian future where the protagonist does bounty hunter jobs, fights in deserts, and is the most badass character in the game. In contrast, The Mandalorian is set in a dystopian future where the protagonist does bounty hunter jobs, fights on desert planets, and is the most badass character in the series. It’s only obvious to combine the two and craft a Mandalorian Build in Cyberpunk 2077. Let’s jump right in!

Perks

Since Din Djarin (The Mandalorian) has various skills, this build needs to have a varied distribution of skills across all attributes. For the Mandalorian Build, the skill distribution is as follows: Body 18, Reflexes 18, Technical Ability 20, Cool 12, and Intelligence 3.

Skill Distribution for the Mandalorian Build

Reflexes

In the Assault section, the first perk chosen is the Named Bullets. This perk increases Critical Damage by 20%. The Skull Skipper perk reduces recoil by 4% upon successful Headshots. The Shoot, Reload Repeat perk reduces reload time by 40% for 5 seconds upon defeating an enemy. The Nerves of Steel perk increases headshot damage by 15%. The Bulletjock perk increases all damage by 10%. The Bullseye perk increases damage while aiming by 10%. The Executioner Perk deals 25% more damage to enemies whose health is above 50%. Lastly, the Long Shot perk increases the damage proportionally to the distance between you and the enemy. The farther away an enemy is, the more damage will be dealt.

In the Handgun section, the first perk is the O.K. Corral. This perk deals 50% more damage to enemies whose health is below 25%. The Wild West perk removes the damage penalty when shooting from afar. The Rio Bravo perk increases the Headshot damage multiplier by 15%. The Gunslinger perk reduces reload time by 25%. The Desperado perk increases damage by 10%. Lastly, the On The Fly perk reduces draw/holster time by 50%.

Crucial perks to get, enhancing your damage levels as well as critical damage and chances

Since the Mandalorian wields the Darksaber, this build will invest perks in the Blades section. The Judge, Jury & Executioner perk increases damage by 100% against enemies with max health. The Fiery Blast perk increases damage by 3% for every 1% of health the enemy is missing. The Crimson Tide perk lets Bleeding be stacked three times. The Stuck Pig perk increases the bleeding duration by 10 seconds. The Crimson Dance perk upgrades combos to have a 30% chance of bleeding. The Sting Like a Bee perk increases attack speed by 30%. Lastly, the Flight of the Sparrow reduces the stamina cost of all blade attacks by 50%.

Technical Ability

In the Crafting section, the first perk chosen is the True Craftsman. It allows you to craft rare items. The Grease Monkey perk allows you to craft epic items. The Cutting Edge perk increases the damage and all damage-related stats of crafted weapons by 5%. Lastly, the Edgerunner Artisan perk allows you to craft legendary items. Since the Mando is a skilled craftsman, these skills are essential for a Mandalorian build.

These perks are vital to the usage of Tech Weapons which are going to be extensively used in this build

In the Engineering section, the first perk equipped is the Gun Whisperer. This perk mandates that fully charged Tech weapons do not shoot automatically. The Superconductor perk allows Tech weapons to ignore armor. The Fuck All Walls perk reduces the charge needed for Tech Weapons to penetrate walls by 30%. The Up To 11 perk allows you to charge Tech Weapons up to 100% capacity. Lastly, The Draw the Line perk lets you review bullets’ ricochet trajectory when aiming with Power Weapons.

Body

In the Athletics section, the first perk chosen is the Steel Shell. This perk increases armor by 10%. The Divided Attention perk lets you reload weapons while sprinting, vaulting, and sliding. The Steel and Chrome perk increases melee damage by 20%. The Regeneration perk lets health slowly restore during combat. The Transporter perk lets you shoot with pistols and revolvers whilst carrying a body. The Multitasker perk allows you to shoot while sprinting, sliding, and vaulting. Lastly, the Dog of War perk increases Health regeneration in combat by 60%.

An important perk, Steel & Chrome increases melee damage by 20%

Cool

In the Ninjutsu section, the first perk chosen is the Sniper. This perk increases Headshot Damage outside combat by 20%. The Hidden Dragon perk allows you to perform non-lethal aerial takedowns on unaware targets. Lastly, the Assassin perk deals 15% more damage to human targets.

In the Cold Blood section, the first perk chosen is the Coolagulant. This perk removes the Cold Blood stacks one by one instead of removing all of them instantaneously. The Cold Blood perk allows you to enter into Cold Blood mode, where movement speed is increased by 7%. The Easy Out perk increases ranged weapon damage by 20% for enemies within 5 meters of you whenever Cold Blood’s active. The Defensive Clotting perk increases armor by 8% per stack of Cold Blood. Lastly, the Predator perk increases attack speed by 30% per stack of Cold Blood.

Cyberware

Frontal Cortex

For the first slot, the legendary Heal-on-Kill is equipped in the first slot. Considering Din’s hatred of Droids, the Mechatronic Core seems the ideal option. This cyber ware increases damage to robots, drones, and mechs by 50%.

The Mandalorian would approve of this effective cyberware, increasing damage by 50%

Ocular System

The Kiroshi Optics MK.3 is used to enhance vision. There are three remaining mod slots. The first slot is equipped with Weakspot Detection, this implant increases the critical chance by 2%. The rare Threat Analysis mod is equipped in the second slot. This implant increases mitigation chances by 2%. The rare Threat Detector mod automatically highlights enemies who have detected you.

Circulatory System

The legendary Bio-conductor is equipped in the first slot. This implant reduces all cyber ware cooldown by 30%. The legendary Second Heart is equipped in the second slot. Much akin to Grogu’s magical healing abilities, the Second Heart instantly restores health to 100% when it falls to 0%, reviving you. The legendary Bio-monitor is reserved for the last slot. This implant restores health to 100% when it falls to 15%.

Immune System

The Inductor grants immunity from Shocks & EMPs and increases armor by 50%

The epic Shock-n-Awe implant is equipped in the first slot. After taking damage, there’s an 8% chance of releasing an electrostatic shock that damages nearby enemies. The epic Inductor implant makes you impervious to Shock & EMP, instead of taking damage, it increases armor by 50%.

Nervous System

The epic Nanorelays are used to increase Kerenzikov and Sandevistaan’s duration by 3 seconds. For the second slot, the Maneuvering System is equipped. It allows you to perform dodges while in mid-air.

Integumentary System

It isn’t the Beskar Armor but we have tried emulating it to the best of our abilities

The Mandalorian is clad in Beskar armor which is heat resistant alloy and not very conductive. In light of this, the rare Fireproof Coating is equipped which grants immunity to burns. Additionally, the rare Grounding Plating is also equipped, giving the build immunity to shocks. Lastly, the legendary Subdermal Armor is fitted in the last slot, upgrading armor by 300. It is as close to Beskar armor as you can get.

Operating System

For the operating System, the legendary Zetatech Berserk MK.5 will be equipped. It allows you to go into Berserk mode for 30 seconds with 30 seconds as the cool-down period. In Berserk mode, it will reduce weapon recoil and sway by 20%, and melee damages increase by 20%, Armour and Resistances are upgraded by 10% and will restore 5% of health upon defeating an enemy. There are three mod slots with this operating system.

The Beast Mode mod is highly effective and doubles the current damage levels

The first one will be equipped with the legendary Beast Mode mod. This mod increases Armour, Resistance, and Health Regeneration by 15%, and importantly melee attacks deal 100% more damage when Berserk is active. For the other two slots, Sharpened Beserk pairs nicely, increasing critical damage by 25%. For the last slot, Devastating Berserk is the appropriate choice, increasing the critical chance by 15%.

Skeleton

The legendary Microrotors are equipped in the first slot. This implant increases attack speed by 25%. Additionally, the epic Bionic Joints are equipped as well. These joints reduce the recoil of ranged weapons by 25%.

Hands

The legendary Smart Link implant is used in the Hands Slot, it allows more precise ad accurate targeting when using Smart Weapons. It will allow smart weapons to guide bullets effectively to the enemy’s weak points. It increases the chance for smart bullets to hit targets by 15% and increases critical damage by 20%.

Arms

The Whistling Birds, a special weapon of the Mandalorian to get out of difficult situations

There are two options here, the Monowire, or Projectile Launch System. The Projectile Launch System most closely resembles the Whistling Birds in the Mandalorian’s vambraces. The Projectile Launcher allows you to unleash various powerful projectiles, dealing various types of damage as well as causing explosions. But most importantly, it wreaks mayhem and destruction. The Monowire resembles the whipcord also found in the Mandalorian’s Vambrace. But it’s used in Cyberpunk 2077 as a powerful melee weapon compared to the Mandalorian who uses it to grapple and restrain opponents. I’d go for the Projectile Launch System over the Monowire if you wanted to be lore-authentic for the build.

Legs

The Fortified Ankles are chosen for the legs slot. This implant reduces fall damage by 15% and lets you hover by holding down the jump button. You can also charge for your jump by pressing down the jump button and releasing it for a powerful jump. This implant pairs well with the Maneuvering System.

Vehicles

The Mandalorian in the highly acclaimed series uses two spaceships. The first is the iconic Razor Crest, and the second is the N-1 Starfighter. Although Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t have spaceships yet, there are several vehicles that the Mandalorian could be driving in Night City.

The Beast, a formidable pick-up truck with ample ammunition protection

For alternatives to Razor Crest, there are two. The first is the Thorton Mackinaw Beast. It’s a bulky car acquired for free after completing “The Beast in Me” racing quest with Claire. The Beast is a heavily modified pick-up truck and fits the bulky and rough theme of the Razor Crest.

The Little Mule is built to be driven in the deserts and Wastelands

The second alternative to Razor Crest is the Thorton Colby Little Mule. This car can be acquired for 35,000 Eurodollars in the Sunset Motel parking lot in Eastern Wastelands, Badlands. The little mule is a small, inexpensive, but well-equipped nomad truck. It sports more of an outsider nomad or lone gunslinger type and is well-equipped to drive across the deserts.

The N-1 Starfighter the Mandalorian acquires later in the series is smaller and faster than the Razor Crest and has a more sleek look. There are two options here too.

The Rayfield Caliburn is the fastest and the most expensive car too

The Rayfield Caliburn is at the top of the food/car chain, and its gold and white colors mirror the Naboo Starfighter. This futuristic sports car is the fastest in the game (211 mph) and has a navigational computer to drive autonomously. The white and gold variant can be bought for an incredible 127,000 Eurodollars from Dino Dinovic. There’s a free black version of this car inside a tunnel in the Badlands.

The Type-66 Avenger has an air of its own and seems like something the Mando would drive

The Quadra Type-66 Avenger is another option for players short on Eurodollars. This car fits Din Djarin’s aesthetic color scheme while looking and sounding incredibly cool. It will cost you 75,000 Eurodollars from Dino Dinovic, and this powerful car looks like something Grogu will enjoy.

Weapons

The Mandalorian has a variety of arsenal at his disposal in the series. His most iconic weapons are the IB-94 Blaster Pistol and the Amban Sniper Rifle, which disintegrates enemies with a single shot.

The Nekomata Rifle, the most powerful sniper rifle available in Cyberpunk 2077

In Cyberpunk 2077, the most similar weapon to the Amban Sniper Rifle is the legendary Breakthrough Nekomata Tech Sniper Rifle. This powerful sniper rifle mirrors the Amban sniper rifle used by the Mandalorian and comes equipped with a Nokota E305 Prospecta scope. It packs a base DPS of 530, and its bullet can penetrate through walls and ricochet multiple times. It also has a 300% Headshot Damage Multiplier.

The Malorian, an extremely rare & powerful gun to annihilate enemies in close combat

For an alternative to the iconic IB-94 Blaster pistol used by the Mando, the Malorian Arm 3516 is an iconic Power Pistol available in the Cyberpunk 2077. Sharing a name with the Mandalorian, this rare pistol seems like a perfect fit. The silver casing on the gun matches the Beskar armor worn by the Mano, and its deadly accuracy and range make this a perfect fit for this build. It can penetrate and ricochet off walls to hit multiple enemies, similar to a blaster. It has four empty mod slots, which can be equipped with four Crunch mods to increase this weapon’s damage further.

The Darksaber as wielded by the Mandalorian

The Mandalorian also wields the Darksaber, which we will try to do justice to by equipping the best Katana available in the game, the Jinchu-Maru Katana. It’s an iconic Katana entirely in black, similar to the Darksaber, and is won by the protagonist by defeating the previous owner in a duel. This Blade shares a lot of similarities with the Darksaber. When Kerenzikov is active, this blade inflicts 100% critical damage on enemies unfortunate enough to stand in its way.

Clothing

The clothing for the Mandalorian is hard to come by on account that the Beskar armor isn’t available in the game. This means we have to do whatever seems appropriate at the right slots. A silver Reinforced Visored Helmet is worn for the head, hiding our face like the Mandalorian. A Kani Kara Titanium Reinforced Composite Breastplate is worn over our torso, as a silver vest couldn’t be found, and to mimic the ones worn by Jango Fett, one of the tribe members of the Mandalorian. A Braindance Blue Trilayer Long Sleeve is worn to match the blue vest and cover the arms. Denkyoku Rocker Strongweave Duolayer Slim Fits are worn for the lower body because it matches the vest and the long sleeves.

Finding the right items is a big hassle, be sure to visit multiple shops for your best fit

Finding the right piece of clothing in Cyberpunk 2077 is tiresome as all the shops have items on an RNG basis, meaning they randomize every time you enter a store, so specific locations and items to specify become impossible.

That’s all from this comprehensive guide. By equipping the above items, perks, weapons, and cyberwares, you’ll become the Galaxy’s most feared bounty hunter in Cyberpunk 2077. Soon, you’ll be strutting around Night City defending the innocent, demanding money, and declaring what is and isn’t the way!
