The Medium is a psychological horror video game that is played using a third-person perspective. The main storyline of the game is based on the Haunted Niwa Resort and as the game progresses, you uncover the unspeakable events that led to its mysterious fate. You assume the role of a Medium named Marianne, whose psychic abilities allow her to inhabit the spirit world. The game features a “dual reality” gameplay depicting the real world and the spirit world at the same time.
The Medium includes an auto-save feature that automatically keeps track of your progress throughout the game. This means players don’t need to manually save their game since the system does it for them, ensuring that their progress is recorded without having to worry about manually saving.

The Medium’s auto-save feature automatically saves your game through Marianne’s story. The Medium auto-save feature records your progress frequently when you move into a different area, after cutscenes, or when you pick up items and combine them.
A moth icon will appear on the screen, showcasing your game is being saved.
