In this guide, I will share with you all the information related to Theater Mechanicus and tips and tricks to complete the challenges easily.
Store rewards and quests
You will get Peace Talisman from completing event quests.
Peace Talisman is being used to exchange items from Xiao Market.
Xiao Market Stage 1 requires 3160 Peace Talisman to clear the entire shop. Stage 2 and Stage 3 of Xiao Market will be unlocked at a later date.
The amount of Peace Talisman you can get from Theater Mechanicus Stage 1 is 3160 as well. So, it is possible to clear the Stage 1 Xiao Market if you completed every quest in Stage 1.
Free 4-star character redemption is only available when Stage 3 of the event is released and it requires us to spend 1000 Peace Talismans.
You will unlock the Theater Mechanicus mini-game after completing Xiao’s story quest.
Crafting Xiao lantern
You need a Xiao lantern for every attempt on the Theater Mechanicus.
Plaustride Shards
You can get Plaustride Shards from breaking ores. Any kind of ores, including magical crystal ores, will drop Plaustride Shards.
Wick Material
Any kind of hilichurls (big or small) will drop Wick Material.
Lantern Fibre
You can get lantern fibre from harvesting plants. You can get a lot of lantern fibres from Qingce Village (Jueyun Chili and Berries).
PERFECT CLEAR GAMEPLAY STARTS HERE
The best team in my opinion is Kaeya, Xiangling (or Klee for consistent Pyro), Barbara and Geo MC.
How to check wave info
After you enter the challenge, you can check the monsters that are going to spawn in first wave by clicking on the top left corner icon below the “Exit” icon.
Every tower is different
There are only 4 towers available currently and each of them have different attack power, attack range and attack speed.
I don’t like Pyro towers
I recommend using Cryo and Hydro tower as Pyro tower MISSES quite often even though it has high DMG and deals AOE Pyro damage.
Start immediately after you are done building
Press P to start the wave on the PC.
Naughty Samachurl – Pro tip 1
Samachurl normally runs very fast, I was trying to build stuff and he ran past me.
Even though you can’t deal damage to monsters, you can use charged attacks to make them fall and you can keep on spamming charged attacks to force them back to the tower.
About the towers – Pro tip 2
Don’t put 2 towers of similar elements close to each other as they will have similar attack speeds, which means unable to apply consistent elemental effects on the mobs. Here, I’m putting the towers of similar elements diagonally.
Geo character buff – Pro tip 3
You can use Geo MC elemental skill to block the pathway of the monsters.
Mystic Arts
After every wave ends, you will get to pick a Mystic Art within 30 seconds. Some of them cost money and some will give you a “negative effect” (Fickle).
Not that hard if you do everything correctly
There is a certain mechanism that can be activated and change the mob’s pathway but activating mechanisms do cost money. You can consider using them when you reached the tower building limit.
