This guide will provide you with all the locations of the Ultra Glide fin and Swim Charge fin Databox in Subnautica.

There are multiple locations where you can find both the swim charge and Ultra glide fins databoxes. There are a total of two spots you can find the swim charge databox and there are four places you can find The ultra glide fins at.

To start off, you need to use the coral tube that sticks up out of the water as your starting point, and then head North, or about one notch to the left of north on your compass until you reach a large wreck in the underwater island biome.

When going to the underwater islands, it is recommended to bring a sea moth with perimeter defense and at least an MK1 depth module. Or better, a knife, a flashlight, and you may need a laser cutter to access certain parts of the wreck.

The main creature that will be a threat to you are Bonesharks and there are a pretty good number of them in the underwater islands. They can be very annoying if multiple of them start attacking you at the same time, you can easily be killed or your Vehicle can be destroyed. You can kill some off using your knife or perimeter defense to ward them off and make sure your sea moth is in a safe place since they may attack it even while you aren’t in it.

The two main threats you are going to run into at this spot are warpers and crab squids. Crab squids can disable your vehicle by letting off an emp, you can dodge it if you are fast enough or you can use perimeter defense against them to make them run away Before they do their emp.

Warpers can teleport you out of your sea moth/vehicle and into the open where they can attack you if you are feeling brave. Then you can attack one using your knife and when it takes enough damage, it will warp away or you can simply outrun it if you have the sea glide in the event you get warped.

Now once you get to the hole, go down the hole and once you are in the cave, look and head north. Shortly after going north, you will find the grand reef degasi base.
