Asrock Adds Ryzen 5000 Series Support to More of Its X370 Range

Asrock adds Ryzen 5000 series support to more of its X370 range.

They have released new beta firmware that enables support for Ryzen 5000 series.

At least seven boards are now supporting.

The beta BIOS added support for both Vermeer 5000X series and Renoir 5000G series processors.

But the firmware removes support for Excavator era Bristol Ridge CPUs.

That’s not a loss you should be worried about.

You need to update your BIOS to 7.00 before updating to 7.03.

Asus and Gigabyte introduced Ryzen 5000 support on some A320 motherboards in late 2021.

X370 will not support PCIe 4.0.

Their compatibility does not exist because of low capacity BIOS chips.

Many AM4 boards included a 16MB BIOS ROM.
