But when it comes to close range firing it is not the best weapon we can use against police!

M16's incredibly high fire rate and damage proves it is the most powerful weapon in the game.

The best weapon to use against police in GTA Vice City is the minigun.
The minigun has an incredible rate of fire and high damage.
Minigun can annihilate most vehicles in nearly less than a second around a certain radius
.

Same as in GTA Vice City, the best weapon to use against police in GTA San Andreas is the Min
igun.
GTA SA minigun is one of the most powerful weapons in the entire GTA series.
It can take down almost all vehicles within a second! (including helicopters).
In GTA LCS, VCS and CTW , minigun is the best option against police.

Carbine Rifle
Unlike 3D universe game, Here the cops don't appear instantly from nowhere.
They cover behind things and shoot at the player.
RPGS are ofcourse better when taking down helicopters and detroying other vehicles.
If we use RPG against police, we can only take down 8 vehicles (about 16 cops) a time.
But when considering the ammo capacity (RPG) we can take (8), carbine rifle is the bettter choice.
We can do more with the carbine rifle, it has a good range, better damaged , and can keep more rounds of ammo.
Since we can only take 8 RPGS at a time, the better option is carbine rifle in tlad too.
Grand Theft Auto The Lost and Damned
Explosive Shotgun
In TBOGT, the explosive shotgun can be identified as the best weapon against police.
It has a better range when compared to other shotguns.
It will usually kill enemies in just one shot, and it takes two to three explosive round to ignite the fuel tank on a normal vehicles.
Grand Theft Auto 5
Rail Gun
Minigun is of course a better weapon to use against police in GTA 5 too.
But when we get higher wanted level , and when we are surrounded,it will be hard to keep figh
ting.
So we need something more powerful!
The best weapon to use against police is Railgun.
It has incredible range and accuracy in addition to massive kinetic energy.
Railgun fires an inert metallic round at velocities higher than the speed of sound using and electromgnetic effect.
It can destroy any unarmored vehicle in one shot.
Although we can have only 20 rounds, it can easily take down 20 vehicles including helicopters.
Players won't miss any target because of its hypersonic speed, if we use RPGS, we may miss some.
Grand Theft Auto Online
Widowmaker
Since Railgun is not available in GTA online m the next best options are minigun and widowmaker.
Minigun is better than widowmaker in many aspects.
But if you are new in GTA online, or if you are below rank 120, you can't get the minigun.
Since you can buy the widowmaker from the beginning, it will be the best option for new players.
