It will change up the D&D 5th edition rules.
They announced an official Dark Souls roleplaying game and it will be on the D&D 5th edition ruleset.
The Board Game’s production raised over $5 million on kickstarter.
They have subsequently done many more game adaptations which includes Resident Evil board games.

There are no death saves in Dark Souls. You hit 0 Position and you are dead.
You’ll have lost all your collected souls, leveling up might take a bit longer.
Each time you die, you risk parts of yourself being whitted away. If during a combat, half of your party dies, then the whole party fails.
They reckon this makes the game world’s rules a little bit tougher.
A tabletop RPG does seem like one of the best fits.
