GPUs Stolen in California Truck Heist Turn Up in Vietnam Retailer

GPUs stolen in California turck heist turn up in Vietnam.

Finally getting a resolution to the truck heist from November.

In 2021 a truck heist over GPUs occurred in California. Jacob Freeman confirmed that a shipment of EVGA RTX 30-series cards were indeed stolen.

The card's retail value was between $329.99 to $1959.99 USD.

The serial numbers were on record, anyone trying to sell would run into problems.

Some of those cards are now showing up in Vietnam.

A retailer has been caught distributing some of these stolen cards.

Customers couldn’t be registered for warranty claims who bought it.

One person bought two RTX 3080 Ti GPUs and faced the same issue each time.

They said the cards were given 1 month warranty with a decent price.

They didn’t publish the name to avoid having more customers purchase stolen cards and it’s not a small local retailer.
