How the River Monster Looks Like in Red Dead Redemption 2?
Not long ago, there was strange audio named river monster in the game files; the audio belongs to an unknown creature; let's listen to it; these sounds were inspired by tripods from the war of the worlds.
Aside from the foghorn-like noises, this audio file also has these growls. Let's dive deeper into the game files to understand the river monster.
Originally, the river monster was supposed to have a ped model called A-C-Rivermonster-01. They never created the Ped Model, so this secret was deleted quite early; judging by its sounds, you can assume that the monster was huge.
You cannot pick it up or skin it according to this file.
What's interesting is that you can loot it, Though, once killed, you will get crustecean meat from it.
It is the meat you can loot from a crab.
No shellfish sounds like this monster, so it's obvious that it wasn't a real-life animal.
The river monster has a lot in common with the lion. Just like a monster, you can't pick it up or skin it. You can loot it, though; the lion has very little sound effects since it only appears during one mission. The river monster has half the sound effects the lion does.
The river monster is maybe a small part of a mission. The giant was supposed to have a ped model; it was deleted because it didn't fit the RDR2 world.
You might never find out what the monster looked like, but you might have a small hint at his appearance after all.
According to the game files, A Camel was originally supposed to appear in RDR2.
This animal was probably a part of a mission, as well.
It was most likely a part of Margaret's stranger mission. Eventually, it was deleted and deduced to a cigarette card.
Maybe the same thing applies to the river monster. Maybe one of these creatures is, in fact, the river monster's design.
