How To Solve the Norwegian Manzanita Post Mystery in Red Dead Redemption 2?
RDR2 is known for its huge mysteries, but its world is also filled with tiny ones which are still pretty amazing.
You can find an example here in the Manzanita trading post.
You will notice that this place is inhabited by Norwegians. In this particular cabin, you will find a photo of a couple with a small child.
If you flip it, you'll see the word "uren", that means "Impure".
The couple that lives here doesn't mind if you take it or steal from them. But if you search the chimney, they will run away.

They fled their country after murdering the family from this photograph, the man was from North Africa,
While the woman was a part of the religious cult. The reason why they were murdered was the fact that she had a baby with a foreigner, who most likely didn't join their rel.
That's why the photograph has the word "impure" written on it.
In the confession, the woman writes "The only face i see is yours", it's implied that she was friends with the murdered woman.
By "Father" she probably means the priest that led their community, And not only the priest: But the whole community is worried, It may not look like it, but manzanita post is really a small settlement full of murderers.
