Intel’s Flagship Raptor Lake CPU Could Run At Up To 5.8GHz

The Raptor Lake CPU could run at up to 5.8GHz.

If they don’t forget the power efficiency then it's great.

With a two-core boost clock of up to 5.5GHz, Core i9 12900KS is out.

But the upcoming generation is going to be even better in this perspective.

5.8GHz boost clock has been rumored for Intel’s flagship 13th Gen Raptor Lake model.

Intel can add 200-300MHz over the 12900KS, they said.

The impact on power efficiency is still unknown.

And what kind of clock will be available for the top-end model.

Without needing high end cooling solutions, i7 and i5 models will be a little more grounded.

Core i5 12400 is a prime example for that.

In the second half of 2022, Intel's 13th Gen Raptor Lake and AMD's Zen 4 CPUs are set to do battle.
