Owa Daim Shrine Walkthrough - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

There are two paths to the Owa daim shrine. The shortest path is long and difficult, so it may not be best for those who wish to arrive quickly. The second path is longer, but much easier.

The easiest way to get to the Old man's hut is to first cross the ridge to the north.

When you stumble upon a big tree, climb the cliffs straight ahead of you and use the platforms to rest.

The other route is the one that is located near the temple of time. It's north of the old man's cabin.

As you continue up the path, you'll discover a snowy landscape.

The weather is cold. So layer up with a warm jacket before heading out for a hike.

Then go straight up the hill, climbing a ledge on the way, then climb down to the shrine from above.

Walk up to the nearby pedestal and interact with it to get the stasis rune.

Press the rune on the giant gear to prevent it from moving. Use the bridge to cross over.

When the boulder falls, you can quickly run to the next area.

To prevent the boulder from blocking your path, use the stasis rune.

Continue walking to the source of the boulders. You will find a chest containing a traveler's shield.

You see an iron sledgehammer by the wall to your left.

Your task is to move a boulder. Use the stasis rune on it, then attack it with your iron sledgehammer, wait for the time freeze to wear off, then it will be out of your way.

Go to the altar and get a spirit orb.
