For the trial itself, it's best to wait until the frost bellowback is atop the cliff, so the other two machines will not interfere that much.

For the shredder, catching the distance is the key. That way you can see the shredder coming back and have time to react.

When the shredder does not come straight back like this it either bounces left or right of your position.

10 Catch it easily and simply roll from your position to the side where the shredder goes.

Third time, it explodes.

Repeat and the challenge is complete.
