Sony is making PS4s in response to PS5 shortages.

In the chips crisis Nvidia and Sony have resurrected old tech.

Due to the shortage Sony is going to make more PS4s throughout 2022.

They are planning to produce about a million PS4 consoles.

PS5 has sold 13.3 million units as of September 2021. On the other hand PS4 sold 7.6 million in its first year and almost double that figure in its second year.

Shortage of Semiconductor is still the problem they are facing in production of PS5s.

All fields of technology are facing problems throughout the supply chain.

Nvidia released older graphics cards in response to this shortage.

RTX 2060 12GB is an older relaunched card with double the VRAM but it's either not available or very expensive, Sony and Nvidia have the same ideas on how to deal with the chip crisis.

In 2023 we are going to see a change in production and supply.
