Stalker 2 Developer Cancels the NFT Auction

GSC Game World, the Stalker 2 developer, has made an announcement to cancel the NFTs auctioning.

NFTs are expensive receipts that provide an in-game presence to the owners.

The NFT promo material showcases how to become "the first metahumans" in the "Stalker metaverse".

This announcement has been made on Wednesday from GSC official Twitter account.

GSC said that they don’t want Stalker 2 to become a "blockchain-based game".

The fans were waiting for the auction to own a Stalker NFT.

But GSC has cancelled all their plans to sell NFTs.

The developers added that they have made this decision after feedback from the fans.

The Skeptical onlookers were taking this as a market to make some money.

Randy Pitchford, the CEO of Gearbox Software, said that you don’t need NFTs to pre-sell unique customized stuff.
