The Ghost of Agnes Dowd in Red Dead Redemption 2: Explained

Due to the grave’s location, you can assume that she lived in Shaby Belle. You can encounter Agnes 16 time, each time she tells you a bit about her past. Agnes relives her memories out of order. Lets Begin!
The story of Agnes Dowd.
Agnes was in a relationship with a married man, but her parents didn't approve of it. So most of the time, they met under this tree.
At one point Agnes got pregnant, Agnes asked her lover to leave his wife and start a family with her instead. The man didn't want to leave his wife, so he broke up with Agnes.
They were having an argument, she thought that no other man would want her, because she got pregnant out of Wedlock. Agnes came from a rich family, and the man was of a lower class.
That's why Agnes's mother called him Hillbilly white trash, As days went by, Agnes started missing him, and she wanted him to come back to her.
Agnes's parents disapproved of her relationship from the beginning, her mother kept insulting the man for leaving her. And Agnes kept defending her lover.
Time went by and Agnes gave birth to her child, but she still missed her lover. One night she left home and went to visit him at his house, Agnes tried to convince him to come back to her.
She told him that their son looked like him, she also said that she left her son and her home, so they could be together.
Agnes's father knew his daughter had an obsession, he got furious when he found out that she abandoned her child. He grabbed his gun and went to the man's house, it was the night of september 4th, 1883..
The lover and the father got into a fight, Agnes was panicking and tried to calm her father down. The father shot Agnes's lover, seeing her lover dead made Agnes lose her sanity.
In the heat of the moment, Agnes most likely killed her father. In the next dialogue, Agnes is unsettlingly calm, it confirms her mental breakdown, she most likely speaks to her dead lover's spirit. She tells him to meet her by this tree in the swamps, Agnes went to their tree, and she hanged herself.
In hopes of meeting her lover again, the tombstone mentions that agnes took lives of other that night. It refers to her lover, for whose death she was probably blamed.
