This Chinese Motherboard Supports DDR4 And DDR5 RAM

This Chinese motherboard supports DDR4 and DDR5 RAM.

The changeover from DDR3 to DDR4 was faster than DDR4 to DDr5.

DDR5 faced massive shortages when it was first released.

And other flow effects have really slowed down the uptake for this new memory.

To go for DDR4 or DDR5 is not an easy choice to make for many PC builders.

One motherboard maker out there is taking a both way approach.

Onda has made some of the unconventional motherboards in the past.

This time they have gone for dual RAM support.

It is a Micro-ATX board with two DIMM slots.

Only one slot activation at a time will allow the board to work with both DDR4 and DDR5 RAM technology, It is assumed.

But it will half the potential of bandwidth available.

It also includes a PCIe 5.0, three SATA 3.0 ports and two M.2 storages.

The board is based on the H610 chipset.
