Tips for Far Cry Primal

Headshot is your best friend.

Lighting a bonfire is one of Main goals.

You can stand on rocks to avoid most animals.

Throwing rocks is mostly useless.

You have to shoot or avoid eagles, they are enemies.

Wait for animals to kill your enemies.

Mammoths are normally Doctile.

You can run up rocks to avoid Mammoths.

Mammoths will forget you are the enemy.

Hide in bushes to avoid Cavemen.

You can also use the trees to dodge Cavemen.

No need to avoid scared Cavemen.

Kill Pigs and Hyenas to increase carry.

Fire can be put on arrows.

Arrow fire lights up at night (for a time).

Certain animals will avoid fire.

Certain animals are not afraid of fire.

You have to watch for crocs when swimming.

Aim down to dive, up to the surface.

You can down time yourself.

Follow bag icon in minimap.

If the bag no on tree, it is on the ground.

Thrown weapons can be retrieved.

Use R3 to highlight and retrieve arrows.

Long jump: Press L3 to run, X to jump.
