Windows 11 Pro Will Soon Force You to Have a Microsoft Account For Installation

Windows 11 Pro will force you to have a Microsoft account.

It will be a minor inconvenience for some.

They are set to be required to connect to the internet and sign-in with a Microsoft Account during the installation.

When installing Windows 11 Home this is already the case.

It was revealed in preview build 22557.

It will require internet connectivity.

MSA will be required if you choose to set up the device for personal use.

One one of several reasons that users pay extra for the Pro version, so that they don’t have to go through that.

If your Windows doesn’t recognize either the Wi-Fi or Ethernet controllers to access the internet, then you can foresee yourself having problems with this.

Some people don’t like the idea of requiring another way to keep tabs on your activities.

It is currently being tested in the latest Windows 11 preview builds, and there is always a chance that this will never make it to live builds.
