A Study in Potions Event Guide - Genshin Impact

In this guide, I will share everything you need to know about the new event.

You can get up to 420 Primogems from this event, and it starts on Jan 7 at 10:00 AM server time.

Activating the Event

You need to be at least AR30 and complete the Archon Quest “Farewell, Archaic Lord” to unlock the event.

Teleport to the Mondstadt city waypoint.

Talk to Timaeus to start the event quest.

After completing the event quest, a new domain will be unlocked.

There are three challenges in total, and a new challenge will unlock every two days.

Rewards

You can earn up to 140 Primogems from each challenge.

Tips & Tricks

There are four rooms in total, and each room contains different enemies.

You must complete all of them without resetting the challenge.

Note that this event is not available in co-op mode.

If your characters are strong enough, consider using a higher score multiplier.

If you run into problems during a challenge, you can reset it by selecting the reset trial option.

Food buffs and healing items are not allowed during the challenge.

When forming a team, keep in mind that characters used in one challenge cannot be used in the next challenge.

They will become available again in the third challenge (one challenge cooldown).

Stage 4

Potions are permanently disabled during the challenge unless you reset it.

After completing the first stage, the difficulty increases from normal to hard, hard to extreme, and extreme to fearless.

Because of this, it is better to attempt stages where your team is weaker first.
