Active Camo in Halo Infinite
This guide explains why Active Camouflage is one of the best equipment options in Halo Infinite.
Active Camouflage lasts for exactly 30 seconds after activation.
Walking, clambering, and crouching do not remove the camo.
Do not sprint while using it, as you can be seen. Walking speed is not much slower than sprint speed, and you don’t make footstep noises while walking with Active Camouflage, which makes it very strong.
You will also not appear on the radar while walking, even if someone spots you and tries to shoot.
It is very hard to see an Active Camo user while they are standing still. You can spot footprints on sand or mud, as well as water splashes, but these cues are not always reliable.
You can use the Overshield and then Active Camouflage to become invisible with an extra shield.
Active Camouflage also hides you while carrying the flag. As long as you don’t sprint, you can sneak it across the map.
